Lanceley Uplifts Listeners With Heart-Warming New Album ‘Sweeter Than Honey’

Adam Lanceley proves the phenomenal power of music with his new album, ‘Sweeter Than Honey’, which is exactly the vibe you get listening to his music. The feel-good album is his 11th studio album and he has clearly found his sound. He says, “Sweeter Than Honey marks the end of a long time spent struggling and soul searching,” and “with it, it feels like I’ve found an answer.” Music has been able to provide this artist, like it has done with so many others, a way to escape and process difficult emotions.

Having had death knock on his door at a young age from a debilitating accident that ended his athletic prowess, Lanceley fortunately made it through and turned to music to help him cope. The result? This joyful, inspirational album. The lead single, ‘I’m So Glad’ opens with the gentle strum of the guitar before being joined by Lanceley’s emotional vocals. This feel-good track combines the simple beat of the piano, the enticing strum of the guitar, and Lanceley’s assured vocals to produce an easy to listen to, upbeat song. Lanceley’s strength in overcoming both his physical and mental struggles shines through this album and creates an inspiring message for his listeners.

Check out Adam’s most recent single here!

‘Sweeter Than Honey’ is an album that encapsulates a diverse range of genres, such as pop and blues, to create an optimistic sound. Much like his two previous albums, Lanceley has dedicated ‘Sweeter Than Honey’ to the same person. Lanceley’s joy and strength makes this listening to this album an uplifting experience. Lanceley is no stranger to success either; he has gained over 32k views on Global Talent World which is an extraordinary feat. His clear message clearly resonates with people around the globe.

With ‘Sweeter Than Honey’ being released on May 14th, now is the perfect time to embrace the inspiring message of Adam Lanceley.

SOCIALS:

Country singer-songwriter Adam Lanceley unleashes the inordinate album “Welcome to the Next Century”

I would describe the Adam Lanceley as an irresistible fusion of melodic Eagles songs with a vocal delivery akin to Bob Dylan. Lanceley’s latest release, “Welcome to the Next Century”, is a fantastic collection of 11 songs that infuse everything excellent about country, guitar-driven music.

The album opener ‘Summer of Love’ is a gentle acoustic-driven track with an addictively catchy pop melody that you are sure to be humming along to once you get the chance to hear it. The album takes a much more mellow direction with the third track, ‘Asking for Shelter’, a powerful ballad with an alluring piano riff alongside Lanceley’s scintillating vocals. My personal favourite track on the album is ‘A World in Blossom’, a brilliantly bristly guitar riff reminiscent of Nirvana in their ‘In Utero’ days.

“The new tracks that are on this album have all been recorded since my last EP came out and all were written and recorded during lockdown. Doing this then helped me to escape some of the stress of the situation and almost take myself away to a sunnier, more care-free place. It was always intended that they would be released when the world seemed ‘brighter’ and on a more personal level, it felt like a turning point where things suddenly seemed easier”. – Adam Lanceley

However, Lanceley was not born with exceptional musical talent and suffered many severe setbacks before embracing his destiny to become a supremely talented musician. At age 10, Lanceley’s life changed forever when a car accident left him with devastating injuries that demolished his dreams of becoming a sportsman. He sustained severe brain injuries during this accident and has struggled with his mental health ever since. However, this excruciating experience allowed Lanceley to escape through music and found refuge in crafting songs. His love and passion for music are evident throughout ‘Welcome to the Next Century’ and have a lasting impact on anyone who gives it a listen.

Multi-instrumentalist, Vcage highlights a subject which is still considered one of the great taboos.

VCAGE – SLAM ME

Born in Mexico and now living in Los Angeles, VCage combines a raw emotional rock dynamic with a melodic heart to project his stories which he hopes will resonate with people worldwide. Constructed with his own skills as a multi-instrumentalist, a loop station and even samples of pizza boxes (!), VCage is an artist who transcends genre to bring music to the very centre of how we live our lives. Yes it is the message behind this amazing song that has to be focused upon as it is about a guy who is being abused by his female partner. For those of you who have no idea about life this may come a cross as a ballad of a super wimp, as how can someone of the male gender be physically abused by a female well it is actually a really big issue .

Now I wasn’t aware of this being, a humble music reviewer and one that tends to focus on a cool riff rather than showing guidance on social issues but did you know 2019 statistics show 2.2 million men worldwide suffered physically during an abusive relationship during the previous 12 months, a statistic largely overlooked by the media. Victim to psychological abuse and blackmail from his former partner, Slam Me bravely tackles these issues head on, giving a voice to the reported 1 in 4 men who are abused but never report the crime.

So what!  I hear you cry!!! All I want is to know about great music !!!! Well that is why I am telling you as this is not just an important message but a really accomplished musical talent . Therefore this has to grab your attention and If this has indeed grabbed your attention,  then reach out and touch the online links for this great musician , I have mapped them out below with the new single that shines a light on this issue entitled ‘ Listen to me Slam.’

Downstairs Monsters Deliver Northern England’s Timeless Guitar Pop In The Unlikely Corners of Israel

3000 miles away in a small town near Tel Aviv, the mainstream sounds of dance beats and club tracks have turned to a surprising alternative – Britpop. Titled as Downstairs MonstersLiad Broyde leads an archetypal one-man operation, whereby he composes, sings, plays, produces and records every element of his music all with the same flawless execution of a English guitar bands.

Encapsulating the effortless hooks and nursery rhyme familiarity of The Beatles to Oasis’ anthemic sing-along choruses, Downstairs Monsters latest release ‘In A Flash’, Liad has looked to the past for inspiration – chiefly Israel’s biggest rock star Arik Einstein.

Taking the psych-pop components of Einstein and combining them with the harmonies of such pop joys as The Beach Boys, Downstairs Monsters can at any given moment look to fit perfectly in any decade from the sixties to the present day. Joy-affirming music that takes you back to cinematic classics and that good-time feeling.

"Hey Ooo I A O" is Your New Earworm…Like it or Not!

Without question one of the most bizarre things you’ll hear this year, “Hey Ooo I A O” is the brainchild, if that’s the right word, of Patrice Pouzet aka Pat and the Pro’s (his apostrophe, not ours!), resident of one of the most stunning places in the world, Reunion Island. Whilst the white beaches of the Indian Ocean isle might more readily be associated with the indigenous Séga or Maloya styles of music, no-one appears to have told Pat, whose louche bass vocals are the basis for that now rare beast, the novelty song.
A little bit like the sound of The Doors going on holiday to Ibiza, it’s utterly preposterous stuff but not without its entertaining qualities, the main chorus needed corrective surgery to have it removed from your head. Bizarre.

Somebody Told Me…Saint Mars' New Track Has A Heartfelt Message To Anyone Who Has Experienced The Harmful Effects Of Bullying

This is quite an exciting in up and coming music, as well as young singers and stars in the making, however, it takes an established musician to give the younger generations a shot.
Ex Massive Attack guitarist and co have been on the grind to create something powerful and impressive to follow up from their 2017 EP ‘Ocean Blues’, ultimately coming to the completion of their brand new single ‘Somewhere Somebody’.
This track highlights the effects that bullying can have on those who are victim to its mean and horrible acts. To help convey the message, Tryzdin Grubbs, a young singer in the USA, who became an internet sensation after singing an Adele song to his friends and family.
With a powerful ensemble, the stance against bullying is only getting stronger, and we thank you Saint Mars!

Review: Anarchy Reigns' Hard and Heavy Tune 'Hypocrisy'

With social divide, negative political impact and war raging on, people look to leaders, artists and professionals to guide them into the light, and this time Anarchy Reigns are taking a shot at being the voice of the people.
The new track ‘Hypocrisy’ is a gritty, politically charged, fury fueled anthem. The boys from Anarchy Reigns have constructed an opus which is fantastically delivered, and received with open arms.

The heavy gain and volume turned up to 11, the phat and fuzzy classic metal sounds and the melodic sorcery that hitch so brilliantly conveys, all come together to make this track, and we are so glad that they did.
Be sure to check out the track as well as all the other great content coming from the Anarchy Reigns camp:
