Hard Hitting Single – Rhett May Is Back For More!

Blending classical sensibilities with a twist of Indian culture, Rhett May has dazzled a plethora of fans with his latest album ‘Fast Cars & Sitars’ featuring lead single ‘The Violence of Ice’.

Rhett’s musical has spanned a generation and his back catalogue is equally as impressive as his recorded offerings. Back in the seventies Rhett supported rock behemoths Queen. Rhett May is a voice of experience in a rock world which has become increasingly shallow. He has toured the world, seen the music industry from the inside and watched the dark side of the business consume those around him. Throughout those experiences Rhett May continually turned away the excesses of the industry, choosing instead to write his own story as opposed to those who fell into the clutches of addiction.

This remix puts Rebecca in a totally new space which only goes to show off her versatility. Her stunning vocals blend well with the trap style synths and compliments this more gritty remix with charm and bold expression.

After lining up on stage next to some of the UK’s biggest artists at The Wembley Arena and completing her own national schools tour, this has already been an impressive year for the Welsh born singer, and with her mixtape due out November 2015 as well as other exciting things planned for 2016, it would be best to keep an eye on Rebecca James for the coming year.

‘On My Way (Gifted Remix) will be available from November 23rd

Have Japanese Fighting Fish Got What It Takes?

The band have evolved from the South American rhythms of their debut album to their punk rock sophomore and now their latest offering draws on funk, fuzz and infectious hooks.

What began as guttural hum quickly became a fully fledged song and thus “U Ain’t Gonna Win This” was born. It is an angsty, aggressive, brooding and punchy funky space rock tune with post punk elements and nods to the likes of Q.O.T.S.A., and Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds.

We love this band and can’t wait to see what more they have to offer!
